La Ley de IA de la UE y Microsoft: lo que los controles tecnológicos pueden y no pueden probar

Technology controls can produce evidence about how AI systems are built and used. Whether that evidence meets a legal obligation is a question for your legal counsel.

The EU AI Act sets obligations that depend on how an AI system is used and the risk it carries. Many of those obligations — documentation, human oversight, logging, data governance — have a technical side that Microsoft platforms can support.

Tools such as Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender can classify data, record activity and enforce policies. They can show what happened and which controls were in place. They cannot decide how a system is classified under the regulation, or whether an organization meets its obligations.

A workable approach pairs the two: legal and compliance teams interpret the obligations, and architecture and governance teams translate them into controls and the evidence those controls produce.
